This is patient review for Dr. Sunita Tandulwadkar and her team
Dear Dr. Sunita Tendulwadkar,
My wife, Mrs Anupam Bhatia was
under your care for Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy (TLH). After a long ordeal
with her gynae problems, we consulted you through a reference and were
immediately impressed by your expert advice and elderly treatment. Anupam’s
case was not a typical one considering that apart from the gynae issue she had
other complications related to myelopathy and auto immune status. I will admit
that before coming to you we were very nervous about the whole treatment but
your advice gave us the confidence to proceed and from that point on we just
put things in your able professional hands and put our complete trust &
faith in you and your extended team.
The pre-op preparations were
detailed and complete and your team sat with us explaining all the important
steps and procedures we needed to go through from pre and post admission
routines to medi-cliam formalities etc. The signs of us making the right
decision were already eminent.
Surgical procedure was a tedious
one, however, your team under your guidance and well complemented by Dr.
Manisha Karmalkar for Anesthesia did an great job and all those anxious moments
(hours actually and that too more than a couple) that we spent outside the OT
were all worth it, once we could briefly meet with Anupam right after the
surgery was completed.
You have always been very
categorical on the importance of post operation care and how that is the
measure of really success of the procedure. Here I would like to make special
mention each and every member of your team who stood by us almost 24X7. I may
not remember names of all the resident doctors and may miss a couple but would
still like to commend Dr. Dhanashree, Dr. Shubha ,Dr. Sana, Dr. Ashish, Dr.
Kranti and all the rest of them who were either directly or indirectly
associated with Anupam’s case while she has been in your care in the hospital.
The amount of sheer hours, heart, professionalism and pride that each one of
them puts behind their work is commendable. Behind each of these names we found
a caring and loving human being who was selfless and not only living up to
their professional oath but holding it at a much higher pedestal than most
other doctors around. We had them with us till late hours in the night and
found them visiting again starting very early mornings. We troubled them with
our inquisitiveness, sometimes a bit too much and no matter how unreasonable at
times we have got with them, they all were always accommodative, compassionate
and caring. They all made sure that either one of them (and at critical times
all of them) were around to take care of all the different issues and
complexities that were associated pre and post-op in our case. The training and
guidance you have and continue to provide to them was evident.
I along with Anupam would like to
extend a personal thanks and gratitude to you and to your entire team for
helping us, tide through this critical phase with relative ease and comfort. We
wish all the success, great professional careers and a fulfilling personal
lives…….to each one of you.
